Whea Unrecoverable error.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I purchased a pre built gaming PC off overclockers.

The "Titan 450i Sabre" Intel Core i7 4770K @ 4.3GHz Overclocked Haswell Quad Core PC to be exact.

It would occasionally crash when playing games such as BF4, Farcry etc, with the message Whea Unrecoverable Error.

Looking into this I tried a few things to correct it following various online guides.

However the crashing is becoming worse and I am pretty sure it has something to do with the overclock crashing the system.

When I use Prime95 the system freezes up and crashes within a matter of seconds.

I have tried to use Command Prompt to find and repair files and that didn't work, however when I used Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth it got rid of the errors.

I am not very computer literate however I can follow basic instructions!


Any help is much appreciated, am I still under warranty with Overclockers, the pc was ordered 9/1/2014?

Bundle warranty seems to be 2-3 years usually, so It is likely they'll support you.

whea errors crashing to desktop when playing games or crashing altogether are usually not enough cpu voltage or offset
