Wheel alignment?

Hello motors, hoping you can come to my aid yet again..

I have a 08 mk2 focus, and it is pulling to the right. Particularly at low-med speeds. I took it to a local garage a few days ago for laser wheel alignment - they then pointed out my front bushes were knackered, and suggested I got them done, then got wheel alignment. I did, as the front bushes were the only MOT advisory anyway.

But the pull to the right is still there.
Should the wheel alignment have sorted this out? Am I missing anything important with my limited motor knowledge? Anything else to try?

It's not a dangerous pull, but needs a hand on the wheel at pretty much all times to correct it. Unless I'm turning gently right of course, then it's hands free all the way.

I'd expect a garage to pick up whatever was causing it to pull after a wheel alignment if it weren't the alignment causing it to pull....so no it shouldn't still be do it

Mine had a stuck caliper the other week though. Pulled one way but braking affected the amount it pulled. You should also notice a lot of heat on one of the wheels if it's a sticking caliper.

The alignment should have fixed this (aslong as somthing else on your suspension isnt worn out aswell), Also did they road test the vehicle after to make sure it was driving properly?

Does it get worse when braking? could be a binding brake?

Edit - wesimmo got in there before me.

Try setting the steering wheel straight then go forwards and backward then look at the front wheels while standing infront of the car, do they look the same or is one sticking out more than the other?

Are the tyres inflated to the correct psi?
