Wheel alignment

Hi, my alignment has been set toe in +2.9 combined, is it possible to be toe in to much. Drives OK but on full rh lock cv joint seems to be pushed beyond its limit, as if turned to far. Changed joint but still same. Any advice appreciated exeo 2.0 tdi 2012
