Got a couple of racing wheel and pedal kits.

Wondering if anybody has any recommendations for a stand. Seen "Diwangus" on the rainforest, they look reasonable and pretty universal.

Any tips? A search didn't throw up anything recent.

I think there are a few important questions. What wheel and pedals are you primarily using? What are you looking to achieve as this is a potentially huge rabbit hole? you looking to setup a dedicated simrig or just something to mount your setup on that will come out occasionally? Does it have to be just a wheel/pedal stand or are you interested in a proper rig? Whats your budget? whats your space constraints?

Looking at that "Diwangus" setup personally I wouldnt even entertain it. Its going to be a wobbly mess. If you are confined when it comes to space restraints. Going by your limited info given I'd probably look at the GT Omega Apex as a bare minimum. My mate runs one and I've spent put a fair few laps on that setup, and its surprisingly rigid and functional. He runs a Thrustmaster TS-XW/T-LCM on it and its actually decent, wouldnt want to put a stronger wheel/DD wheel on it but for that setup its absolutely functional.

As I say though, give us a bit more information and we'll be able to advise you better.

Thanks for your input.

I've actually ordered the one I was looking at. Spent a while searching the Web and trying to identify genuine rainforest reviews and it seemed worth the money.

I have Thrustmaster T248 and an older Logitech setup, think it's the GT Driving Force.

We were just looking for a cost effective way to avoid having to use non adjustable tables and the pedals sliding about. Not a full sim racing rig yet, though I can see that my son agrees with me that a decent wheel and pedals transforms driving games (T248 recently acquired for his PS5) so who knows where it will lead :D

If anyone's interested, it arrived today and I'm really pleased with it

Pretty stable and once your feet are on there it's nicely damped with little flex or wobble.

Plenty of adjustment and obviously a vast improvement on a loose IKEA coffee table that weighed 5 grams.

For our purposes, ideal.
