I can't be 100% sure of this as the reporting across multiple media is just dog-crap (no shock there) but it looks like it was the covered trailer that the car was left in overnight is what was stolen, rather than the car itself being taken off the trailer and then stolen, independent of the trailer. Like I said, the reporting from "journalists" on this is awful, with no effort being put into any actual reporting, talking to police, talking to Premier Inn staff/witnesses etc other than basically requoting "the WD team" and calling it a story.

***EDIT*** - the BBC story is far better than the rest and has more info and yes, it was the trailer that was stolen which had the car still inside -

Personally I think it's all BS.

Why would you leave a covered car transporter in a public car park unsecured? Especially when you're under 20mins from the final destination which has secured storage?

WD viewing figures have been steadily declining so a good old fake "tradegy" for a national news story to pull in the publicity.

Give it a week and the car and trailer will be found safe and sound..

It's exactly the kind of stunt that fat **** Brewer would do

Don't hold back. lol
With Mike, you can tell the sort of person he is by the difference in the way he and Ed handled things whenever they talks about WD in the past. Mike is all about the "Ed thought he was bigger than the show" and uses a lot of terminology calling out Ed specifically. Where as Ed, talks more about "The Show" and "Discovery" and the direction "They" wanted to go. On that basis, my assumption - and it is only an assumption - combined with other behavioural traits and videos I have seen, is that yes, Mike truly is a ****.

I use this Premier Inn whenever I'm visiting my eldest.

I've often wondered, given the reputation of the area, whether my car would still be there in the morning.

Loving the conspiracy theories, but this clearly has happened.

They've had West Yorks police out and are actively encouraging any sightings to be reported directly to them. The car was locked in a car transporter and unknown individuals have stolen the whole trailer.

It wouldn't be worth their careers to have made this up, then wasted police time for a simply "publicity stunt".

Brewer will give cheeky chaps who stole it a proper handshake when he sees them. Deal of the century for the ol' mucker.

What car do you have?

At the time M Sport BMW 330 Touring. Have a Jag I Pace now so can't see anyone falling over themselves to pinch it.

I do have Impreza and Evo but won't take them to Ponte Carlo.

Daughters car insurance near enough doubled when she moved. We live in sleepy hollow West Wales so locals tend to steal each others tractor rather than cars.
