Does anyone use a wheel and pedal stand from the likes of Forza, GT etc?

Could anyone recommend one? Don't want one with a middle bar if possible, and one that could be taken apart easily would be good as i'm tight on space here...

Thanks

Got a bar in the middle... Do you not find it gets in the way ?
Sorry I misread your original post - honestly I wouldnt know a product that does what you suggest off the top of my head. I dont have any real issues with the post in the middle - tbh I assumed you couldnt get anything that differed from that basic idea...

check this out. it has a section on wheel stands, some with bars in the middle and some not - like Apiga, GTOmega etc..

I use a full rig so can't comment on the quality of stands. ie wobble etc... also depends how heavy wheel is and strong FFB motor is. I have a T500rs and don't think a wheel stand would be stable enough, whereas a logitech DFGT should be fine

bought mine direct as it was the only option at the time, years ago now. still as sturdy as ever though :D

Thanks, Will place my order tonight and hopefully get it Monday with any luck.

Suppose the beauty of it is, If Fanatec release a wheel for the xbox one, I can upgrade... Right now i'm sticking with the 360 because of the limited wheel options...

I actually got mine off the MM here, I would say that it might be worth checking out lunarwolfs links as tbh I bought a collapsible stand when there just wasnt a big market for it (I use a G25 and I got the WSP just when it got reinforced for the G27 IIRC).

I assume with time and competition there might be something better for the money - check out the PC game forums here as no doubt the sim racers there will have an opinion too...

Might help some of us guys out considering we are likely to have to get new wheels for the PS4/XO...

It's amazing how expensive some setups are.

I spent £20 on some wood and self tappers. I had a spare car seat from a car I was breaking so that was free. This way you can make your own cockpit to your own specifications for peanuts.

It's not very portable but gets chucked in the shed when not in use. Saying that it would take me 5 minutes tops to dismantle it and chuck the wood and screws into a bag.
