Completely new to racing wheels for console or pc but will be getting Assetto Corsa soon for pc.

From what i have found it boils down to either Logitech or Thrustmaster. Probably a no brainer but i have seen a few Fanatec ones.

Been hearing plenty of good things about Logitech, especially lifespan(warranty).

Some issues about Thrustmaster but the T500 is the leader, with the T300 pretty good. Even Argos messed up their price for the T150 about a month ago and were selling them for £45 but i missed it ffs.

Been noticing a very good general opinion of the Logitech DFGT especially at the price you get some go for 2nd hand.

Would i be better off with DFGT at around £50-£70 for now.
Or the G25 at around £130-£150
Or the G27 at around £150-£170.

T150 at £100.
T300 at £200+

The T500 seems like overkill spec wise and price wise for a driving wheel newbie like myself.

Aaarrrrggggggg.......................decisions decisions. Help !!

Or get a second-hand Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel for about £20.

It's a decent wheel at a pretty disposable price.

Seen that advice on here as well but i spent £30 on a stand for wheel and pedals, arriving thurs-friday.
Seems ridiculous to spend more on a stand that the actual wheel and pedals :D

Focus on function rather than form. If the stand works then great, but if there's a cheap wheel that complements it then even better!

Just bought a G29 from another online seller (don't think I can link because of not OCUK but a bit of eBay/Google) will be easy to find.
Was £150 but the G29 down at come with shifter, it already comes with the better brake Spring which is a mod for the G27 and if you want a seperate shifter the G27 one is compatible and probably could be found cheaper than the G29 one.
I was looking at 27 but the 29 wasn't much more on eBay.

Edit: sorry was £160 not £150
Also went for a playseat champion (it's a foldable rig) the wheel came with a discount code for the rig but I had already ordered the rig.

If only I knew this a few days ago!
What price would that be?

If that's true, I might be tempted myself! Been £180 before. So lower than that would be nice.

I have a TX with T3PA Pro pedals, TH8A shifter with short shifter mod from Ricmotech and he 599xx wheel. This is all an awesome bit of kit, I Highly recommend Thrustmaster gear.

Ive bought a T150 (unfortunately from Amazon as I ordered it before the this week only deals were released) and have to say Im hugely impressed with it, makes American Truck Simulator so much easier.

Would highly recommend it.

The last time I tried a wheel was with a PS1 with no FFB and was less than impressed, as I found it easier with a pad. If it really is going to be "...at the lowest ever UK price.", I might be tempted to give in to temptation and try using a wheel again.

I have a g27 and love it (picked up 2nd hand in excellent nick for 99 quid) . If the g29 is anywhere near as good then grab it.
