I need 4 new tyres for my Mondeo, the tracking is out on the front nearside and pulls a tiny bit to the left. Is it worth a geo set up or just do the basic tracking, somebody mentioned on here a place in Hants/Surrey a while back of a place that does this on a decent machine, can anyone recall where?

Also what tyres should I go for 205/55/16, its on Mitchelin energy's at the moment. The rears have done 31k so far and have plenty left in them but are cracking, one of the fronts has a good 5mm left and the other is near the limit, (had a blow out and replaced one) The wife has the car most of the time so
driven quite sedate, its the 2.2d on a 56.

Cheers

Thats what i was looking for cheers mate. Just need to look at tyres now. Reading is only 20 minutes away as well.

I agree, Sytner in Solihul did a full KDS alignment on my car after the accident and it was complete pap and was on the verge of being dangerous, so back to Sytner cov it went (who did it flawlessly the first time) and they corrected the mistakes made by the brummies.

The guy said it doesn't matter it you've got the best equipment if you don't know how to use it.

zakly. one place near me (wont say the name, any coverage is good coverage) has all the hunter stuff but they cant balance a wheel for toffee

the only wheel tyre place ive been to, where ive been completly happy with the outcome, has to be elite in rainham. cannot fault them at all and i moan a lot about whether work is carried out right or not

Elite wheels which i used in Reading did a great job. It's a really well spec'd out building with quite a bit of ££ put into it, not a backstreet garage job. Knew what they were talking about.

Bus stop's are near by if you wanna just hop of into town for a bit like I did :)
