This seems like quite a minor issue, but I wouldn't mind a few opinions nonetheless. Basically, when I start the car after leaving it overnight and try moving forward, the wheels feel like they are 'sticking' quite a bit and are reluctant to move. They will then suddenly release and there will be no resistance whatsoever, almost as if the brakes are clinging to the disks/drums even when the handbrake has been disengaged. This seems to be worse in cold weather.

Does anyone share these symptoms or could possibly shed light on what this might be and whether it is worth doing something about?

Many Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll try working the handbrake a bit and see if I can loosen it up a bit. (although it doesn't feel any different when I release it as normal in the morning).
Failing that I'll see if I can leave it in first gear one night.

This has only started since that recent really cold snap in January.
