will the wheels from a rover 400 (s reg) fit on a megane (s reg). the ones on the rover are 185, 60, 14 and the megane are 175, 60, 14 so both 14 inch but is the offset ok? the speedo won't be out (less then 1%).

Rover 400 90 to 99 PCD - 4x100 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 56.1
Renault Megane 96 to 99 PCD - 4x100 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 60.1

looking at that.. they may or maynot fit.. if they use spiggot rings, to reduce the oversized bore hole to the correct size needed then you could just get some correctly sized spiggot rings, and they will be fine. all aftermarket wheels ive bought have used the adapters.
BUT If they are OEM alloys, which are bored to the exact size needed, then they wouldnt fit

ahh forgot to say both are steel wheels

If that is the case then they wont fit, as the centre bore on the rover are 4mm smaller diameter than the renault

If you're getting them for the tyres, just swap the tyres over?
