I would like to know how to Wheelspin a FWD car havnt tried it before but is it basically revving high dropping clutch with handbrake on?

Ty!

Don't even need to do that, 1st gear stop the car foot down on the revs lift clutch and away you go.

Wouldn't advise it though.

Im not here to advise on such things but im fairly sure at the point you do attempt this you should have health and safety nearby with suitable standby professionals and video recording equipment.

Yup. No handbrake needed.

Just be at a standstill, bring up the revs high with the clutch down and bring it up sharpish.

Not much point, just makes you look like a tit/chav...although I did find it amusing when I plumed smoke from the tyres on a diesel 306. :D

just try to pull away from a standstill in the wet with any kind of urgency and wheelspin ahoy :( Don't know why you would WANT wheelspin though, it's a pain in the arse when trying to make progress and certainly doesn't impress anybody.
Don't bother with any high rpm clutch dumping in the dry though, it won't do your drivetrain any favours.

And as per saitrix's post, if you want to do a really big lopez style rolling burnout then reverse at a reasonable speed then without slowing down, dip the clutch, stick it in 1st, rev it up really high and dump the clutch. Don't do this if you care about your car even a little bit.

I tried to get my 999cc Uno to wheelspin, never worked in the dry, gave a squeak and then just pulled off.

It's supposed to be really bad for the transmission on a 4x4 ain't it. You're supposed to get the car rolling then give it the beans, like this:

I don't even try getting any power down in 1st in my car. I swear, last time I tried, I was actually moving backwards!

2nd will spin up with a little bit of boost on a wet road.

Can't wait until payday. Going to treat myself to some decent rubber methinks.

Have you guys heard of tyres that dont suck? I've got more power and torque and don't have traction issues to speak of, really.

Even though this thread is about front wheel drive and you own a rear wheel drive BMW?

It was originally about how to do a burnout in an FWD car. It appears to have moved on to generally accidently spinning the wheels.
