Well the author of that article thinks that at GTC we will see Pascal introduced.
I do get a feeling that NVidia might just a pull a fast one and release before AMD do.

Another funny thing is how the Quadro Maxwell parts have an extra Tflop of performance compared to titan X at same number of shaders.

It is the other way round with higher performance on the TX, probably due to it's higher clockspeeds.

At default clocks I have seen the M6000 rated at 7 Tflops to the titans 6. Yeah with overclocking it can change, is the disparity in base performance is what I am talking about.

I think your source has got it wrong.

This card and the TitanX use the same GM200 chip.:)

Nvidias own website. And is why I was mentioning the disparity since they are supposed to be the same chip.

Edit - managed to dig further where it finally said 'up to 7 Tflops SP' all the other info just Said 7 Tflops. So prob includes some Boost overclock in the figure.

Nothing to see here, workstation GPU folks. Unless one requires a workstation GPU, in which case I hope you have the money to buy this. I want to know if anything can actually max the VRAM usage on this thing.

Come on Nvidia... not even a peep about Pascal yet?
