When are the new intel quad core's coming out?

Am trying to get a new pc this week and was wondering when are the new yorkfield cpu's coming out? says pre order.
What is the different between them and the kentsfield cpu's? What kind of motherboard would I need?

What Intel Quad core cpu do you recommend?

i think they are supposed to be out, as the ETA was the 10th of this month so its most likely stock shortages. webnote the shop to be sure

Think Intel guy said there should be a lot more available next week, but supply would continue to be limited for several weeks or something.

Which ones do you guys recommend? Also for overclocking and are they worth it over the kentsfield?
