When are you going fully electric?

Definitely need more saloons and hatchbacks to come out, most are ******* SUVs which is annoying. Why go with the hideous snout on an EV on the BMW, guess they want to maintain the design language which is a shame. Im sure it will be a great car though

yeah they could have totally ditched the big bum on the front and gone for more streamlining.

Agree the amount of EV SUV/crossover shi** on sale is annoying. Would love to see a good-handling hot EV hatchback.

Might be in the minority but I quite like the front end on the BMW. Looks like they spent most of their time styling the front end though as it looks progressively boring the further back you look.

I do prefer the exterior styling of the Model 3 over the i4, the i4 just looks a bit busy and I really don’t like the overemphasised ‘grill’ at all.

wltp(~CdA) based taxation should eventually fix that .. government is effectively promoting bev suv's at the moment ?

well - model 3 has similar CdA as a merc CLA, despite the latters bonnet; so it would seem there a few design tweaks remaining (maybe fish like scales/external bodywork innovations ?)

Check the XL1 or EQS for lower. Soon realise mass production does limit options. Especially battery prices drop efficiency becomes less critical.

those “horrid” BEV SUVs are still gonna remain the choice if you are moving 4 adults around frequenctly in my book. And ultimately the customer decides, which is why I just laugh at the people moaning about the new Defender.

All batteries will lose charge capacity over time. Entropy is a bitch.

With liquid fueled things you don't lose range or power because all of the energy is in the liquid, which is constantly being replaced.

and this is why electric isnt viable for me yet.. I dont want a car that is 50% as good at X years... Petrol cars dont lose 50% range or performance at X years do they?
