Yeah apparently the GT gets the bigger touchscreen (although the same screen space as you have permanent heater controls?) and sat nav built in. It does have android auto though, you're right.
Annoyingly not included but if that's right, then brill!3 pin plug will top it off over 24 hours

No - just the same old Peugeot system like what I had in a rental car about 5 years ago. Slow, laggy, low-resolution.
I don't think much outside of Volvo and Polestar uses it in UK/Europe yet

Yeah that's how it is designed to be used. Just annoying as occasionally I don't want to be assed to plug my phone in, but glancing up and seeing the map is useful. I live in a place full of rabbit warren side roads and connecting avenues etc. so sometimes useful to see if its a dead end at a glance.
Imagine an EV without satnav, limited range, also imagine that it would explode if the driver slowed below 50 mph and just for good measure there where snakes on it
.CarPlay or AA with Zap Map or ABRP or any number of similar apps and you’d be well ahead of any in car nav that probably doesn’t have any of the charging hubs installed in the last 12-24 months because OEM Nav updates are so useless and chargers are appearing so fast

What a strange thing to say. In all my years driving I never had a car with sat-nav, and yet I always managed to get to where I needed to be.

I dunno, I'm pretty anti-car makers LARPing as sat nav makers anyway. I'm so glad some manufacturers have seen sense and outsourced it to the experts.
It can easily do long journeys. No need to restrict to short town trips.
