When are you going fully electric?

Nice. When did you order ? I see a lot of lease deals have been cancelled recently as the have too many cars for remaining build slots before the new mini electric comes along.

I ordered in early April but was pushed out to Feb23 a while ago so cancelled mine and went for something else. Had doubts on range and charging time too but they are certainly well reviewed

These are supposed to be pretty economical too, aren't they?
used 20% yesterday which equated to around 36miles. The GOM said 76miles remaining but i find it under estimates on purpose and i've also heard from others that it has a pretty big buffer range after you fall below 10%. Only had it a day so can't comment yet really.

I ordered in the middle of May from Sytner and it arrived at the dealer on the 21st July. Picked it up yesterday :D.

We do pretty short miles to work and back and many friends and relatives are basically well within a 40 mile range so made sense for us. Only time will tell as i use it more for longer commutes.

This was launched yesterday - The ‘Sion‘ EV made in Finland.
They are promising a lot - hopefully they can deliver it with these specs and price. Not sold on the van like looks, the forest embedded in the dash is unique and it comes with some trickle solar charging.

Full specs here : https://sonomotors.com/en/sion/

I've got a Garmin Instinct Solar. The solar element on that allows it to be charged once every 27 days in the peak of summer. Without the solar it needs charging about once every 25 days... I can see the solar charging effect of the Sion being less effective than my watch :p

Also I assume that whacking great emergency stop switch won't make it to the production model

autogefeul did their renault e tech review

Renault Megane EV driving REVIEW - finally a new small EV! 2023 Mégane e-Tech Electric

electric rear view mirrors, as he remarks, don't allow you to triangulate on vehicles behind, so seems a wasted budget component.
octagonal steering wheel do seem an inconvenience too, if you are letting wheel run back through hands steering,
in sport mode the traction & stability control looked a bit suspect/slow on country road with understeer, maybe it Renaults tyre choice, did seems agile though, with it low weight.
doesn't look like a flat loading bay with the seats down, like you get on a touring.
