i could only see intel stop milking core 2 duo for all its worth if K8L beats it by a reasonable margin, if it doesn't don't bet on any price cuts anytime soon, there getting everything they can from there performance lead

that's the Core2 Quad 'extreme', INTEL are releasing the Core 2 Quad Q6600 soonish (i.e mainstream and affordable).

Obviously got it wrong in my head I didn't think the Intel Core 2 Quadro Pro was the same as Intel Core 2 Quad
