Hi all,

You must have noticed that when you convert video footage into DivX / MPEG4 / H.264 - Why does the sound not sometimes sync with the picture?

i.e. - A person talking in the video - The sound does not match up to movement of their mouth - lol

Why is this?

Thanks

If your audio is out of sync after conversion you're not doing it right.

Are you transcoding or simply encoding?
If you're transcoding, its likely to be issues with VBR MP3 audio (Really does not like being copied between video files, even if the length is the same)- Best way to get around this is to decompress the audio entirely, before re-encoding it alongside the video :)
