When do you stop being a student?

For council tax purposes etc when does one stop being a student? The day you sit your last exam? The day the last term officially ends? The day you graduate?

Any help would be appreciated.

Technically would be Graduation, that would be my guess.

My "proof of student" paper thingy I get at *** start of evey academic year has specific start and end dates. eg, this year its 31st July. That is a few days after graduation ceremonies.
