Recieved and installed, its dropped my idle temp a bit but its at 50c, i did have a problem getting the heatsink on because the clips are so jammy, this made the heatpaste spread funnily across the cpu, should i reapply paste and reinstall heatsink, ive got the hang of the heatsink now but the instructions were unclear to say the least,
its been a while since i had the one that was faulty so id forgotten how to install without spreading the heatpaste, so far its idling at 45-50c
when it was idling 55-60 on stock cooler, after burn in, before burn in it was at 50c-55c idle, but some crysis fried it and it went up xD
will it make a difference reapplying the paste with a totally even layer, it was the preapplied paste i had on the cooler that started sliding across the cpu because the heatsink hooks were jammy to clip on.
