To recover data i.e. images etc i have a lot of old screenshots i wanted to keep thanks in advance.

Huh? Have you overwritten the data that you want to recover?

Depends as to whether or not you have over written the area where the files were.

Best bet is to unplug the drive ASAP and use another install on XP to run an uneraser.

Well i guess i have i just formmated c and reinstalled it wasnt to important but im gonna keep regular updates of my screenies on a stick so i can see how ive evolved over the next 10 years of gaming =D
