Haven't got the cash for an iPhone 3G but would like to have an iPhone. The 2G iPhone does everything I need it to so looking to purchase one, thing is even now on the bay they go for £200+. I was expecting them to dropping to £180 after the release of the new iPhones! Obviously not! How long would it be till the prices of them falling? I really want to get one but my I don't have the money to pay more than £190 for it. :(

/Rant.

well you could have got one new for £159 so it's seems a little silly paying that much fir a used on. Wait for the V2 to be on payg that's my advice.

So far they show no signs of dropping in price as when you buy a V2 you have to sign a mobile contract in store.

As such the V1 that will be out of contract can still command a premium price, and with talk of the 3G pay as you go being around £300 then even at £200 the V1 is a cheaper option.

Well I couldn't wait any longer and bought one off a guy from another forum for £170!
Got one main scratch but he says its not visible when the screen is in use so I thought why not? Should be coming either on Wednesday or Thursday. Can't wait! :D

Damn you. Owel I'm happy to get it for £170 anyways. Should be arriving tomorrow, and will be unlocking the bugger! Is it worth to upgrade to firmware 2.0 or should I stay at 1.4?

Im at 1.1.4 and am happy with it as its stable and does what i want. I wont be upgrading to 2.0 until its more stable and also easy to jailbreak.
