depends on the game, eg: in a sports game story isn't very important.

but generally speaking, for me it's:

innovation
gameplay
story
graphics
length

innovation first because I want to play something that's different. There's games that cover the other categories.

eg: story: baldurs gate, phoenix wright
gameplay: age of empires
graphics: crysis
length: oblivion

baldurs gate is a long game so length is also a factor
