I have an entry-level gaming pc and was planning on upgrading some parts recently. However since it’s a pre-build the components and case are specific to each other, making upgrading difficult. To upgrade my GPU I would need to replace most of my other components to make it compatible (e.g. case, motherboard, PSU, etc). I’m now leaving that as my long term goal but I’m still wanting an upgrade. I’ve found that an upgrade to my CPU would still be compatible with the rest of my computer and is more effective at getting higher fps in some games. The CPU would cost over £130.00 and I was wondering if I should upgrade this now and focus on the rest later or start saving now for the rest? (My goal for the whole upgrade is 2-3 years)
