When stopped, which foot do you put down?

Used to be left.... smashed the whole of my left leg up (femur/tibia/fibia/rebuilt knee) so switched to my right now. :D lol

When i used to pull off it was always right foot down - race starts you need the left foot for gears when it can do 0-60 in less than 3s! ;)

Usually right so my left is ready on the gear lever as I'll usually have it in neutral unless I think the lights are about to change. If I know the lights will take ages say at a box junction then I switch over with right on the brake so I can put my hands on the tank :) but I'll be watching the other set of lights to see when I need to get ready to be first of the line ie switch back to right on the ground, left on gear lever covering both clutch and front brake as well.

Not really sure why you'd want to cover the rear brake at a stop unless you want to take your hands of the bars, and you always want your foot near the gears to speed up reaction times to get the thing moving.

Weird I just use the front brake to hold it, would never hold it on the clutch, you just simply transition from front brake covered to throttle and slowly clutch out. No idea why using the front brake affects using the throttle if the reach is setup correctly.

Stop with right foot down so I can access gears easily for setting off, also means I can find neutral while I'm rolling to a stop with my right foot ready to balance the bike.

Don't see a problem holding the bike on the front brake

Doesn't really matter which for me as I am on a scoot...

But left for preference, as thats what I was taught in CBT so you don't lean into oncoming traffic, both feet with pillion.
