When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

Hard to predict now, especially if AMD are taking a different route, no-one knows how good that will be. My bet is pretty good, why else would Nvidia, allegedly increase power draw so much?
the power draw stuff will be foe thr 4090 so its the fastest they can make i bet, as well as be the fastest card by a good margin. maybe just trying to take out the risk that the next top end amd card gets too close.

I can see why Nvidia aren't lowering price of 3060. Some of the 2060 cards cost more than some of the 3060 cards do now so they will see the 3060 as being a similar price to the previous generation with a bit better performance per watt, plus an extra 6GB of vram. Some of the 2060 cards were going for £400, https://youtu.be/6vd1GFmbsHE?t=13

Prices still well above launch MSRP of £649.99 for RTX 3080 10GB can't see this changing anytime soon despite the positive price decreases across the pond, so I'm still out for the time being.

Right now the 12G version are generally cheaper and the better buy. The 10G will come down if there is many left but the focus seems primarily now on the 12G version hence those now been cheaper than some 10G and a huge push on the 3080ti and above.

Wada ya mean, those GPU's were put to good use solving complex algorithms.. now they are a good space filler, no one likes empty corners in their work environment.

Nvidia's gaming revenue for the same period is $18.58 billion. Even after accounting for the scalping miners had a tremendous impact.

They are not ASIC's and have been designed to play games. The ASIC's are what are doorstops once they become redundant, GPU's they sell on to yannow game on!

I dread to think just how extra CO2 was generated for all that mining.
