Funnily enough, when the price went up to £829.99 a couple of weeks ago the website showed 19 in stock. Today thy still have 19 in stock.

Seen some articles recently about prices falling in US, should trickle over here eventually I would think plus the pound is doing ok lately. This is about who blinks first.

Have you decided on your purchase yet? Probably pick up a 6800 for £400 and call it day for a few years?
Nope. Still fed up and biding my time in wild hope. If I were to buy today it would be a 6950XT or 4090 probably.

Yeah that's the "value" option. But £620 for a last gen card that's bad at RT and upscaling (nice to have) and high power consumption and heat had still made reluctant at hit the button.

I think they had it at £578 for the 6950xt mba about a month ago on OCUK.
Yeah they did but I was more undecided then and missed it.
Again, looks at the sold prices of second hand graphics cards and people wonder why the UK has bad pricing.
Continue to purchase cards second hand at near retail prices and people wonder why new cards dont reduce in price.

Since the crypto boom people have become conditioned to expect 95% of outlay return when reselling used cards. Totally unrealistic now that crypto has crashed.

Have you seen just how many 3090s get sold per day on the bay? Imo there just haven't been that many previous gen top cards being sold 2nd hand before. There's your flood.
Besides the price is quite high relatively speaking. Slightly more than a new 4070 which is 85+% of its speed at 2K.

You say that but LTT did a recent video on the amount of off-brand 1660 Supers that have flooded a certain online market place. From what i gather companies are 'refurbishing' what maybe ex-mining cards, re-branding them as things like Kinology, Mannajue, 51RISC, etc, etc and selling them at a discount....and dont mention the flood!
