When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

Would have picked one up but my PSU wouldn't have had a fun time, unless I undervolted and underclocked it? Hmmm

I received a marketing email from Nvidia this morning with some promotional prices. A lot of the savings were not very exciting though, like £25 off a card costing over £1k! There was a 3080 for under £600 but I expect that sold out quickly.

4060 at £230odd isn't bad atm
Yeah to be honest this is like the "old days". My last card before this one was a GTX 1070 and I think that was around £300 or so (which I'm sure at the time I thought was quite high haha), so this is good value! But I've no confidence Nvidia's greed will take over for the 5000-series cards

Problem when you consider Nvidia make most of their money outside of gaming GPUs now days, so to them they dont really have motivation to do things like sell for less for a higher numerical quantity of sales.

Cant see the old days coming back, and its now more like if you wait, you get an even bigger and more expensive card later.

I had to double check the date on this one as "3080 for under £600" could have been written a couple of years ago...
