that's when we have a decade of negative inflationWill upgrade if I get 4090 performance for £600-650- don’t know when that will be lol!

TBH I have seen reductions but never great GPU deals that day. Probably worth waiting either way.Anyone know if you tend to get good deals around black friday for graphics cards?
I'd like to get something like a 4070 Super but they're still more than I'd like to pay.
Same boat. Keeping an eye on the S/TI/TS cards and they are creeping down slowlyAnyone know if you tend to get good deals around black friday for graphics cards?

Need to be £300 to be viable with 12gb vram buffer already showings its hitting limits in some new games.Same boat. Keeping an eye on the S/TI/TS cards and they are creeping down slowly
Its either go the second-hand route or play the waiting game (which I'm ok with) as am in no big hurry
4070's in the -500 range on here is encouraging at least
I wish 4070 Supers would drop to below £450 but £300?Need to be £300 to be viable with 12gb vram buffer already showings its hitting limits in some new games.
I think tbh even a 7800xt and 4070 are worry free (for at least 4 years) if you managed to get these for a good price. I’m more interested in RX 9000 and Nvidia 60 series for a decent RT and raster performance jump so I can do >144fps without upscaling at 4K. (Hoping for x80 or x800xt class price correction).I used to worry about GPU prices, then I got a 7900GRE and realized it's actually kinda overkill as the most advanced game I play is Mount & Blade: Bannerlord...
I was looking at the Asrock one they have on here, its rock solid at that price. 16 GB as wellI used to worry about GPU prices, then I got a 7900GRE and realized it's actually kinda overkill as the most advanced game I play is Mount & Blade: Bannerlord...
i been really tempted by the 790GRE, even hovered to cursor over buy, but then i think what about a 7900xt then end up confusing myself and never buy
Honestly as long as you're not gonig to try heavy RT either choice is good if you find the right deal, the GRE is supposed to have pretty good OC headroom though.I was looking at the Asrock one they have on here, its rock solid at that price. 16 GB as well
I've a preference for NVIDIA and am holding for a 70TI/TS but if they do go ahead with the hike shenanigans it'll probably be the GRE the way things are headed
Same here i used to worry about the crazy GPU prices, After waiting for the prices to drop for years i caved in and bought a 4090 and then didn't play any gamesI used to worry about GPU prices, then I got a 7900GRE and realized it's actually kinda overkill as the most advanced game I play is Mount & Blade: Bannerlord...
The thing is that pretty much nothing is really exciting, of all the things I tried on gamepass only bannerlord stuck, half of my gog wishlist evaporated that way... And the other half doesn't want to go down at the price I want yet.Same here i used to worry about the crazy GPU prices, After waiting for the prices to drop for years i caved in and bought a 4090 and then didn't play any games
whats the general rule of thumb on leaks, assuming a september reveal, theres been radio silence for a while now..Nvidia's reportedly scaling back RTX 40 series production by as much as 50% in preparation for the Blackwell RTX 50 launch
Either that or the dearth of new GPUs means it's just a nice time to hike prices. Again.www.pcgamer.com

Better follow that trend and sell it to me for a very wrong price thenFor me it was a case of buying my 4090 right at the very wrong time
Ok you can have it for £4,000Better follow that trend and sell it to me for a very wrong price then
