When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

Soon. I mean they’re going to overpriced for a while yet but they won’t be as overpriced as they are now in a month or two. Less people are buying then what with lockdown ending and more stock becoming available to buy. In a month or two a card will cost a few hundred pounds above msrp instead of double msrp.

Hi guys

Im wondering when the Gpu's prices are going down ??

Everyone is suffering from the prices specially in kuwait ! They are selling rtx 3090 $3500 !!

You are looking at at least 3 years before any real price drop. By then the 7000/4000 series cards will likely be here with great performance and not cheap!
Todays cards will be taken off the shelves by then.

(Seriously though, somewhere around November is a good bet)

So, the Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB supply is normal now, all stores have plenty of them, but the prices remain over £1,075 for the cheapest.

What is going on? :(

We will probably increase our price soon though as the sales are pretty crazy on it and were making less than 10% and we don't have a restocking date yet for more.....

Oh my £949.99 for an 6800xt

Shame AMD don't do UK drops would have tried for 6800xt so will keep trying for Nvidia Fe drop 3080 £650

Sad to see prices seem to have plateaued even with more cards being LHR

Great but the MSRP is $650.

My question is when will the price become the MSRP?

I am not going to buy at even 10% over the MSRP..

Once company A isn't selling enough and lower their price which
slows down company b's sales which lower their price which
slows down company c's sales which lower their price which
slows down company d's sales which lower their price which
hopefully all happens before the next gen comes out.

The gate keepers are lightly holding firm on prices as shops keep buying from them. As above OC are making a few quid on several hundred £ investment, as the distributors and AIBs have stolen all profit off the shops with zero backlash from consumers, yet many keep blaming the shops. So i bet they will hold all stock at higher prices until the next gen, even if it means they can make a loss on each card in the future as they've made plenty of money.

Just my guesswork though.

I was prepared to pay £500, but skipped all the deals still. I imagine i'll lower my budget to £300 come winter, i just don't care enough anymore.

It will happen. May take some time, but there is plenty of stock sitting around now and silly prices.

Demand will not be infinite (unless mining profits skyrocket again). There are only so many people that want an expensive GPU.

Reality is they will all be EOL and out of stock before next gen comes out and never reaching this imaginary MSRP that people think is real. Then they are replaced with next gen at the new fake MSRP and real street price will be 1.5x-2x and if miners are back and a good mining card 3x will be the street price as we have seen this gen.

Sadly new reality for gpus and pc parts now. Look at the 3080 stocks, you might as well say they have gone EOL since the 3080ti came out and won't be back to normal stock levels until the 3080 Super comes out if that even comes out. The hints are there that the 3080 is EOL just has not been said officially yet.

We are not that rich to make the already very wealthy corporations even wealthier.

The official MSRP for the Radeon RX 6800 XT is exactly $649.99.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT Review - NVIDIA is in Trouble | TechPowerUp

AIB cards cost more but yeah £950 is way to much over , I'd only pay £100-£150 over reference

Only hope getting one at MSRP is with Nvidia Fe drop £650 3080 compare that to AIB 3080 which are going for £1200 not worth it at all

And the 3080 is MSRP $700

Reality street price below (what they were selling at and still priced at $1500-$2000 in USA, depending if you are lucky to get it at $1500 in some places or part of a full computer build, prices will never be MSRP on this gen, unless you buy direct from Nvidia in UK and AMD don't sell direct to us in UK, so no MSRP ever) :-
