Then I think they won't sell many, stock everywhere now. People either have a card they can live with or just aren't going to buy until they feel it's affordable. I'm hearing of more and more people watching what they are spending. Wait until autumn when the next fuel price cap comes off, there will be even less money supply.
yeah, i know what i want and what im willing to pay but to be honest i knew that a while back being in this silly game for a few decades, now you have newer people to the ole pc gaming fun and they have learned the past couple of years how greedy companies can be and how we dont matter.
so yeah my cap is £500 maybe £650 if the performance uplift is worth it.
well on a 1070 which does ok but does need replacing for newer games, thing is im working 45 hours a week mon to friday doing a physical job so honestly i game a bit at weekends so not a great rush to get a upgrade, do i want one YES, do i need one not really.You sound like you're in a similar position to me. Same here, my GPU is so old I can't game on it but summer is here, lots of other things to do. I'm after a 7700XT assuming reviews are decent, will keep me going at 1440p for a while. Just need to find some games to play that actually interest me. Too many just feel on rails, MMOs just aren't what they used to be. Need to find something a bit more novel and unpredictable.
Off topic but have you tired Valheim? Bit different as blend of fun action, exploration, and build mechanics. Plus only £15 & doesn't need highest end gpu to play although isn't very well optimised in some places.

Yeah we had two years of that crap from NV/AMD and retailers alike, trouble is many people will just believe anything they're told because reasons. But that's people these days they'd rather defend the people screwing them then admit theyre being screwed...
The AIBs could hardly fail to notice that their gpus were being bought by scalpers to sell to miners at vastly inflated prices. So the AIBs kindly vastly increased the retail prices for miners in order to try and cut out the scalpers. Now that the miners no longer needed to be scalped the AIBs are kindly lowering their price again!
