When the gtx590 and hd6990 out in uk?

hi

im in the process of building a gaming rig, and dont want to buy any gpu yet since the newer nvidia gtx590 and amd radeon hd 6990 are coming out. i have read around and have no info on when they are coming out; i do know nvidia are waiting for amd to release their gpu and amd are waiting for nvidia to release theirs. so does anybody know when they are coming out(and cost) also when will their special versions be out(like when asus oc's them and mods them e.g asus hd5970 ares or asus gtx580 ii) and price.

And in the case they will take a long time to come our, what card should i have untill they come out.

probably would come down, by how much no clue. i wonder which prob be better, my gut says the ati 6990, but dont know. what do you reckon?

but if you think about it, nvidia always come up best at tessellation, which is what dx11 is, i hope amd make a dramtic improvement over the 5970 and 6970. also you reckon any manufacter will make modded gpu e.g asus hd5970 ares or asus gtx580 ii

so let me get this staright, nvidia will only produce a limited number of gtx590's due to loss in selling them, this means that the cayman powerd antilles chip(hd6990) will win wont it? is nvidia just making this gtx590 as a final hurrah for the fermi cards?

agreed very expensive, but wasnt there leaks on the internet of the gtx590, which apparently was originally the gtx595, and i have read around ppl saying there is more info on gtx590 than 6990. is that true you guys rekon?

well like i said its jus what i read, on the net, suppose just have to wait the 4-5 days untill 6990 comes out. and id be very interesd in the benchmarks

well the nvidia gtx590 are apparently coming out 22nd march if anyones interested.

well nividia want their crown back, and in this game the crown i suppose is all that matters; but i doubt ati will go down without a fight. the winner; only time will tell.

before you jump the gun, wait a bit and see the benchmarks for the 590, i mean after all you could be pleasently surprised.

and if u were gunna sli 580, why not crossfire 5970? (just asking)

it would be quite funny i rekon, if nvidia lost out to ati again, wonder wt nvidia say next. when 5970 was fastest nvidia said gtx580 fastest single core.

and leinad amme i never heard the 5series had crossfire problems, in fact i heard crossfire was better then sli, again i reiterate i just heard this.
well anyway let me know how the sli comes along.

the heat and noise title is a big thing, personally heat is more important than noise. i remember the gtx480 it was molten magma on load.
