Does anyone else get annoyed by it sometimes?

Sometimes, I get calls 4 in a row from all different people, one actual call might be someone that I know but the rest sales people who someone who have the wrong number.

Just thought I'd use this thread to relieve some of the anger I get from this atm. Been trying to do some work and just constantly bombarded with phone calls recently. Urgh.

don't answer my house phone half the time, it is more often than not someone trying to sell me something, my mobile is always on but I have started getting some very rude spam text messages. anyone know how to stop them?

I'm the other way around, my number (mobile) isn't given out to companies, distribution lists, or anyone that isn't family or friends.

I get more annoyed when people just don't bother to answer the phone when I call, happened a fair few times today alone (and given that I'm arranging a skiing holiday which is leaving on Saturday, it would be nice to hear from them), sure you can be busy, but given that you can either text, email, MSN, or call me, letting me know one way or the other would be just plain courteous.

My work voip phone is fine. My mobile I refuse to answer unless it's friends or family, and if it starts to bug me I'll just pretend I'm out (without the phone). That said, my mobile is busted at the moment anyway, so it's all good. :p

One of the reasons why we got rid of our land line, well that and the scrote kids decided that ripping open the NTL box and playing skipping rope with the cables was a better idea then telecommunications.

I miss winding up cold callers though, sounding interested for a good 10 minutes of spiel then clucking like a chicken for 30 seconds then hanging up. Ah thems were the days.
