Hi,

I haven't been paying much attention to what is going on in the GPU world right now (especially after seeing the massively increased prices for the RTX line), and I am after an upgrade from my GTX970.

Looking at a 1070ti, when would be the best time to buy (either new or secondhand I don't mind too much)? Is there any other launch coming up that may change prices, or should I wait for Black Friday etc.?

I game at 1440p and it will be paired with a i5 3570k at 4.5GHz.

Cheers.

Cheers for the responses :)

Haven't seen these prices anywhere, is this on the MM sometimes?

If you don't mind a walk on the wild side and like playing with settings the vega 56 is cracking value at the moment. On this OC board the support is great.

Sorry, I haven't seen much on the Vega range. What do you mean by playing with the settings?

He said he's looking at a 1070 Ti though ;)

If you want to buy now look at used 1080 Ti for £450 on the MM.
I'll keep an eye on the MM, although £450 will be stretching, will probably look for a 1070ti/1080 instead.
