I've got 3 pretty much identical rigs to build, 2 are half built. I was just wondering when you think is the right time to buy gfx cards etc.
I was looking at the 8600GTS cards, but are new ones out soon? Is the price likely to drop very shortly? Do pc shops even have sales on?
When i say 'sales' i don't mean the "save £1.29!" on a £200 product. to me that aint a sale, that's an insult! Some online sellers do that quite often *ahem*
Anything less than a 10% discount is insulting. 
With needing to buy 3, i'd be gutted if i paid top whack only for them to be reduced the following week, due to new stocks coming in etc.
Hope you can see where i'm coming from here, if it was just one rig, then no biggie, but with 3 rigs, i could end up spending much more than necessary.
