When to buy...

I will be buying a macbook for going to uni next year to study music technology. So, i was thinking when i should buy the laptop. i was looking at mac rumours and it says that an update will be due basically in the middle of the summer. this would be the latest i would think about buying one (end of july start of august). So i was thinking, if there wern't going to be any major updates to the macbook, would it be worth buying now (as it will be the same price in 4 months) or could there be significant updates before then worth waiting for?

wow, very quick replies. Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately i don't need it right now, but i cant wait to get my hands on a macbook lol. i guess i may aswell wait then.

Also, anyone doing music, is Logic Express 8 worth getting or are there better (and cheaper) alternatives?
