When to changed spark plug ford focus?

It's been two years and 23,000 miles since I last changed them.
It's a ford focus 1.8 zetec (v plate) do they need doing again?

The need doing. Do them every year. It's an easy job and only costs £15 for a set of decent plugs. Don't forget to gap them correctly

I wouldn't say they "need" doing, the spark plug interval on the 1.8 Zetec is something like 40k if I remember rightly?

interval on a 1.4 polo is 40k miles but my brothers were shot after 27k when it had misfires becuase the gap was huge due to the worn electrode

I would replace them anyway as 2 years & 23,000 miles is a long time.

for the price just replace them. at least you'll know they don't need doing for another 23k.

I have replaced them with some Bosch Super plus
The old girl seems to be running bit better in the lower revs then before ?
