Title speaks for itself, at what point in your life (specifically age) would you like to have children. For those with kids already, when did you have children?

Personally I'd like to leave it untill my late twentys (22 at the moment) and, obviously, settled in a home and with a secure job.

Would like to here your views.

22 atm, finish Uni in May. Then a year teacher training, then I want a job for 1/2 years before I get a house. Then maybe 2 years after that. So when I'm around 27/28 I guess :)

The old fella has a mind of its own though so nothings definate :p

Early 30's when i'm financially a lot more stable, own my own house, and feel i'm mature/responsible enough to raise a child. Plus I want to get things out of my system that I wouldn't be able to do were i to have kids now.

I had my first at 18 and my last at 36, While i agree that 18 is too young I don't think there is an ideal time to have children. The right time just happens. (if that makes sense!)

About 9 months after unprotected sex, usually.

Seriously though, job doesn't bother me(to some extent, as long as it is full time / will last! ), when i'm ready i'm ready. :)

Precisely. You don't plan kids, you just have them and cope. If you waited for conditions to be right for you it will never happen.

I want kids now (23) have wanted kids since I was 21, but need to be more financially secure. Bought flat w the gf which we have done up so expect good profit from that, both of us are finishing our education in the next 1/2years and should both have very solid jobs at the end of it (she already does, and is moving up quickly)

So I would say about 25-30, don't want any more when im over 30.

First for never?
I don't think my life from here onwards will cater for them, oh and the lack of a lady would be good reason ;)
My lifestyle as it is already, I think i'd drop dead from stress...
