ive got a ms1 gtx 560ti 448 card how long do you think ive got left with new games coming out before upgrading, and what would be the best choice of upgrade

It all depends on personal preference and budget. If you are happy turning the odd setting down, it should last quite a while longer. Some people are still happily gaming on 460's and even the old 2 series.

I still have an 8800GT in an older system that can play most games, albeit not in DX11 or with settings high.

thanks ,,,i do like to run everything as max as possible...and apparently next gen console gaming is coming soon,,so id like to be ready for the big graphics improvement..thats if it is coming

Latest rumours for the next gen consoles (that I have read), are pointing toward 2014. No substance to rumours, so take from that what you like. You will have the refresh of the 6xx and 7xxx series in a couple of months, so maybe wait it out till then? They will be pricey IMO but they will be slightly quicker than the current gen of cards.

You are good to go for SLI, so long as you have room in your case. The 448 is a decent card but just checked prices here and I feel the £199.99 asking price is massively over the top.

If you feel the urge to upgrade and can stretch your budget another £40, this card is fantasticly quiet and fast:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte ATi Radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3X 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £239.99
Total : £251.39 (includes shipping : £9.50).

It will allow full settings at 1080P on roughly every game.

If your £200 is strict, then consider these:

YOUR BASKET
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Superclocked 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £179.99
1 x Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £149.99
Total : £341.38 (includes shipping : £9.50).

The 7850 wins in some game and the 660 wins in others. Not much in it and both will do well.

The biggest benefit of the 7850 and the 660 is the 2GB of VRAM. Games now require more than 1.25GB to allow ultra settings at 1080P. They are not particulary faster than your 560TI but the extra VRAM will help.

Personaly speaking. If you must upgrade, get another £40 and buy the 7950.

Hope this helps :)
