When would be the best time to upgrade? i know the next gen gfx cards will be coming out not sure when and what will be the next best thing to conroe? just not sure when the best time to upgrade will be, will next generation stuff wipe the floor to what we have today? and im not talking any further than the next generation gear.

Cheers for the replys, moving house and made a nice little number on the flat ive just sold, so want to wait until all moved in and the money is there to spend, my current rig is ok but to upgrade a lot needs changing this is my current rig.

Tagen 480w psu
Antec black piano case (id like to keep)
1 gig (2x512) crucial ballistix
74gb raptor
250gb WD Caviar SE16
Galaxy 256mb 6800gt gfx AGP
Now id like to keep as much of that as possible but i want a rig that will run future games like crysis at top settings without struggling. Im good to wait 2-3 even 4 months for the upgrade but the wait be worth it?
will the next generation dx10 gfx, cpus etc be a massive improvement over what is about now? not really followed up with the latest generation of goods so any advice will be helpful on what we have and what we are all expecting.
