Microsoft has confirmed that the release candidate of its new operating system, Windows 7, is on track for a release date of 30 April.
Windows 7 manager Brandon LeBlanc said in a blog post that users who subscribe to Technet or Microsoft Download Network (MSDN) will be able to download the release candidate on Thursday, while other users will have to wait until 5 May.
