Unfortunately Asus just ship what they ship and that's all. We've got some of the 1000's arriving next week (both colours) but again they're Windows XP

According to the website,...
the XP 1000s have an 80g SSD and are £353.66
the linux 1000s have a 40g SSD and are £373.64

Are the prices the wrong way round or am i missing something?

Yeah I think a lot of people order them on impulse, then they never seem to come in stock and the temptation to have one fades away before it's even arrived. Asus are shooting themselves in the foot really.
