When will the non reference 290x cards come out?

Assuming the reference 290x cards come out with BF4 by the end of the month, when would the card manufactures release the versions with the winforce cooler, or the DUII cooler, etc. Can anyone remember how long it took after the 7970 launch ? Would it be before xmass?

I really want a 290 or 290x but can't stand the reference blower style fan (on the basis of noise).

I seem to remember Gibbo said that non-reference cards were 4 / 6 weeks behind the initial launch. A lot could have changed though as that was a week or two back.
