So they did some auctioning of beta models this month, but when will the actual product be available to buy for the public?

Seems like it would make a good HTPC.

No one really knows. You can put your name down on their mailing list and will tell you when it becomes available.

Did you see how much the betas went for

On their forums they are saying end of this month, end of Feb. I'm guessing the first batch will sell out quite fast, so we might have to wait even longer and buy from the second batch.

Could be very interesting with linux+xmbc build running from a SD card as it can run 1080p from the videos I've seen.

This whole concept is so amazing.

1 Server,
A few credit card clients all streaming 1080p with ease

All for moderate prices!

I already have a Revo, but will be buying 2 of these for the living room and my parents room

Should get even better in the future especially with the way smartphone tech has been heading towards, a credit card sized pc with dual core, decent graphics, more ram etc

Looking forward to playing with this, might just wait for the second batch if the first sells out fast, as its bound to have teething problems too. Slight shame though at the limited amount of OS you can install on it, but I expect that to change as people find ways of hacking things on to it.

Yeah this should get better with time and development of OS's as for power have seen this running quake III Arena yes an old game but it still managed 200+fps which was quite cool :)

Think there will be quite a market making cases for these if they kick off which they should even the bbc are pushing out news stories on it.
