When will there ever be a new Railroad Tycoon type game?

A new Transport Tycoon would be awesome if it ever happened, I don't know what Chris Sawyer is up to these days but if he's still programming there is always money to be made in this genre.

Too True!! I must have losst months of my life to that game lol, and would happily add to a new modernised version

Still play about on the old one now and then. I too prefer the original cheesy music

Just use transport tycoon with the graphics update and enhancements, like a new game

Have you guys tried "Cities in Motion"?

It's made by paradox interactive, and it got pretty good reviews. It doesn't look exactly the same as the tycoon games, but it's the most modern transport mangement game I can think of.
