When will we start to see pre order slots for the AMD Phenom X4`s

So would you advice getting the 5000 black over the 6000? What cooler did you use, I am possible goaing to get the Asus square ice.
 
This close to the phenom launch, I'd advise getting neither, especially seeing as most AM2 boards will be getting bios upgrades to support them. Wait 2 weeks for a 4 core on the new architecture.
But if I had to choose, the 5000 black becuase once you've knocked it up to 6000 speed using the unlocked multiplier, it will still consume less power & run cooler, due to being based on a more advanced silicone.

Where did you get £140 from? I'm not doubting you, just curious. All I've found is the American estimates of around $300, so if you're just directly converting that then I'll have to disagree :P if only we got hardware at the same price as the Americans...

you can, if you dont get stung for import tax.
 
I assume that on release of the Phenom the current line of Athlon AM2 X2's will drop in price?
