Ok Misses needs a Notebook & the Acer Timeline 4810T at £319 seems to fit the bill just perfect however I am a little concerned that this particular model only has Single core ULV SU3500, 3 MB L2 cache running Vista.
Will this Notebook feel slow compared to a dual core version?
She will only use the Notebook for Web / Email / Office / Photos.
If you were to run two of these Notebooks side by side one Single core / one dual core would you see a difference in speed? Booting Windows / opening office / Internet / Looking at pictures etc.
Thanks for your any help seems a lifetime ago since I used a Single core cpu don’t think they ever felt to slow.
