Bought a 64 plate focus titanium navigator around 2 years ago which was an ex mobility car, and since having it I've had nothing but problems. Its a bit iffy on start up for the first 20 seconds too, its like the auto idle isn't being work 100%, bobs up and down slightly then will steady it self out.

Its had a new clutch at 34k miles (garage paid for it), a new drive shaft, a new drive shaft oil seal, a new crankshaft sensor, and now it needs a new cv joint.

I'm just sick of throwing money at it, considering its not that really of an old car. Would you say cutting my ends now, and just getting a different car.

Its at 64k miles now, and always been serviced and warmed up before putting foot down etc, just don't feel happy with the car, feel like its just going to let me down all the time.

Unless you are buying something within warranty then you could find yourself ditching one set of problems for another. TBH it sounds like you want rid of it so that alone is justification enough to send it on its way.

Of the last few cars my wife and I have owned 9 years old seems to be the tipping point for costs and hassle vs value.

Your problem was you bought an ex mobility car. They are never treated well just trade it in towards something newer.
What engine was it?

the list of stuff you have put on it tells me there are probably bigger problems ahead so I would get shot and move on, especially if you feel like you cant trust it as there is usually no way back from that
