When's the new nvidia card due out about?

hi everyone,

anyone know when the next nvnidia card is due out? The new high end one?

Do you think if i purchase an evga 8800gt just before xmas that it'll be eligable for the step-up when the new card comes out?

No one really knows, I suspect Xmas may be too soon for Step Up. I'd wait till at least some preproduction reviews start showing up.

but that sounds soon, being as the 8800GT has only just come out, and the new GTS is soon to come out.
