Where are desktop links stored in Win 2000?

I have a fresh (ish) install of Windows 2000 and would like to restore my desktop icons from a backup, whereabouts are they to be found please? Can I select just the browser links easily? Thanks.

It's all inside your profile.

Desktop icons are inside %userprofile%\Desktop (unless they are icons for all users, in which case - documents and settings\all users\desktop)
IE Favourites are in %userprofile%\Favorites
Firefox stuff is in %userprofile%\application data\firefox
Opera stuff is in %userprofile%\application data\opera

%userprofile% = documents and settings\<your_username>
